Firstly, the service, including all the staff team, is amazing! Special kudos to Wisham and the water sports team (Said and Ahnaf).The restaurants are first class, with good food and an excellent service.The facilities are brand new and well maintained.

The sea at Emerald Maldives is genuinely calming — clear, calm, and the kind of water you can stay in for hours without getting tired of it. Coming back to your villa after swimming and always finding it perfectly in order is a real comfort. Rooms are cleaned twice a day; you leave in the morning and return in the evening to a space that’s been quietly prepared for the night. It’s one of those details you don’t notice at first, but once you do, it really matters. When it comes to dining, Amazonico clearly stands out — the meat is genuinely good and satisfying, especially if you enjoy well-cooked steaks. The Beach Club is an easy, relaxed option during the day and just as enjoyable in the evening. Emerald Maldives isn’t about showing off luxury; it’s about making you feel comfortable without trying too hard.

Went on our honeymoon, and had a great time! Wisham was our butler for our stay, and he exceeded all expectations. He would arrive on time and was very formal, but also very friendly. He drove us and took care of us and went above and beyond. We recommend and are very happy with his service.

i like the resort I like where I was staying in this room it was peaceful. It was beautiful. It was clean. It was a beautiful view. And I like the stuff that there was care us and I love the resort in it was very beautiful very peaceful. It was very great.

We had an amazing experience, we where met by Sid who was our host for our stay there, that did an amazing job at catering to our every need. Traveling with two kids and one being 4 months old is never easy, but the experience was amazing.The food was fantastic and the variety as well, the beach was super clean, and the view was amazing.

We stayed at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa for 6 nights in a Sea Villa with Pool, and it was hands down the best resort experience we’ve had in recent years.The hotel itself is stunning. Beautiful nature, wide and spacious beaches, a fantastic reef, and a very well-designed island that never feels crowded. Everything is clean, calm, and perfectly maintained.But the real magic of this place is the people.Our butler Shafiu was outstanding. Always available, proactive, and genuinely caring. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile.Elena, the Guest Services Manager, is an absolute hero. She made sure all our wishes were heard and fulfilled, and you really feel that she personally cares about every guest’s experience.The restaurant teams were excellent, friendly, attentive, and professional.The diving center team was great as well. Special thanks to Sergey, who made our reef diving experience truly memorable and safe.What impressed us most is the overall attitude of the staff. Wherever you go, someone is there to help, to ask how you are doing, and to think about how to make your stay even better. It never feels forced, just genuinely warm and professional.An amazing resort with an exceptional team. People truly make this place special.We are already thinking about coming back.

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon at Emerald Maldives, and since it was our first time in the Maldives, we had high expectations. I can honestly say this resort exceeded them in every way.The Villa:We chose a Water Villa, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The luxury finishes, the stunning views, and the direct access to the ocean and coral reef made it super comfortable and magical.Service & The "Wisham Factor":While the resort is beautiful, what truly made our stay perfect was Wisham, our Villa Host. Having a single point of reference for every need was incredible. He didn't just fulfill our requests; he proactively optimized our time, offering valuable advice and planning our dinners and activities in advance so we didn't have to worry about a thing.We knew a 5-star resort would be comfortable, but Wisham's dedication truly elevates the standard to a whole new level. He, like the rest of the staff, was always smiling, approachable, and genuinely invested in making our honeymoon unforgettable-and it absolutely was.Dining & Italian Excellence:The food and cocktails were of the highest level. You can clearly feel the Italian ownership in the quality of the ingredients! Being able to find authentic Buffalo Mozzarella, Pachino tomatoes, Bresaola, and Parma Ham -not to mention the incredible focaccia and croissants- was a wonderful surprise.The Sport center:You are in Maldives and you expect always good weather, but sometimes you might not get that. So, having a sport center that offers 2 tennis courts, 2 padel courts and a fully equipped gym is a nice plan-b, should the rain appear. Also, you find 2 ping-pong (tennis tables) and all the necessary equipment to play, from padel/tennis/ping-pong racquets to tennis balls.Special Thanks:The resort is spotless, with housekeeping visiting twice a day to ensure perfection.

Maldives, and it was by far the best experience we've had. Our host, Wisham, made the trip extra special for my in-laws helping them to celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary. Everything and everyone was absolutely incredible!!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!!

Everything really, it was our best holiday so far. The island was great, the facilities were great, and the staff was exceptional. We had a literally amazing stay in Emarald maldives, I read the reviews before coming and it was nothing less than all other guest told. It is worth the rate it has. All the staff were very helpful and attentive . Especially our butler wisham was the best . He made our holiday mote enojoyable and comfortable . Every thing we wished was ready thanks to wisham. Food and the wuality of alcoholic drinks good quality.

The only thing I didnt like was marine life. There arent any reef even in front of the ocean villas with pool. It is not good if you are interested in snorkling

SIMPLY AMAZING. The whole resort is perfection and our stay was nothing short of amazing.From the first moment we stepped our feet in the Maldives we were welcomed by the hotel staff and treated like royalty. They were always so helpful, positive and open to help. I have visited so many places but none of them have been like the Emerald Resort and Spa. Just like have arrived we were escorted to our check in for departure too. I have never experienced such treatment from any other hotel like here. Everything was planned and executed to perfection.I must give a big shoutout to our villa manager Shafi who helped us TREMENDOUSLY - he booked all our events, dinners, and was always available for anything we needed 24/7. It was also our first marriage anniversary and honeymoon trip to the Maldives and Shafi made sure our stay was simply the best ever.We stayed at the water villa with pool and it was dreamy. I have attached some pictures and will let them speak for themselves… no words needed because it was perfection.The food and drinks were also amazing. The resort has such a large wine offer - we had so many different ones from all over the world. Amazing cocktails too. We loved their Grappa!! Although breakfast was similar every morning, we didn’t get bored and we were very happy with the buffet. Every day we had lunch in the beach restaurant and all the waiters working there were so kind but I must give special credits to Sougata and Mirfan - the sweetest souls that went beyond to make us happy and satisfied!!!!It was very cool that the resort offers different restaurants for dinner and you can have different Cuisines - each of them being so so so tasty!Honestly, the beach and the water are nothing to comment on - nature is powerful there!The resort offers different activities and you can never get bored. We took their dolphin cruise and had lots of fun.

Emerald Maldives is a perfect mix of luxury and nature. The house reef at the side of the water villas is vibrant and full of marine life, ideal for snorkeling. We loved the paddle courts and the well-equipped gym, great for staying active. Dining was excellent, with diverse cuisines and high-quality dishes. Overall, an unforgettable stay in paradise. The resort is family owned by Italians. You can feel their soul in every detail, i.e. from interior design, sport facilities, personal attention of staff, delicious cuisine and more. All with a personal touch! Bravo to all staff and the GM Rohit Chhettri!

Just a minor detail about the fish cakes and the sateh in Asiatique. These could be made more authentic. But Master Chef Aldo took immediately action after the comments. So no worries for future guests.

I have traveled all over the world, but this was my first time in the Maldives. Everything about it was a new experience....including the seaplane flight to the resort! I have very high standards, and I am very particular about where I stay, whether traveling for business or pleasure. The quality and amenities of a hotel/resort can make or break the stay. Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa exceeded my expectations in every way....and that's saying a lot. It's hard to believe that a place could be as stunning as it is in the photos online, but it absolutely is. The pictures are accurate, but only tell a small part of the exceptional experience you embark on when you get there. From the moment you arrive at the Male International Airport, a rep from the Resort connects with you to ensure that you move through the seaplane check-in process with ease, and that you make your flight. You get National Geographic level views as you are flown to the Resort. And upon arrival, you are greeted by lovely, warm Staff, champagne, and beauty that will stop you in your tracks. Then, your Host will greet you to whisk you away to your home in paradise & OMG the villas! Absolutely everyone at this Resort engages with guests with genuine warmth, kindness and a willingness to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. I appreciated all of the staff, but give particular mention to Julie - the Spa Manager - whom I greeted as a guest, but left as a friend. She was delightful and accommodating, which made my Spa experience even more memorable. I am especially grateful to my Villa Host Wisham, who from the moment I met him, took care to answer every question, assist with every request, and help shuttle me around the island when needed. He embodies all of the character traits you could hope for in a Host. He was communicative, punctual for pick-ups, thoughtful, kind, and diligent at all times. He even made a special carving for a friend's bday! Thank you Wisham!

Having to go home. I often get to the end of a vacation and even if it's been a great time, I'm ready to go. Not this time; before I started packing, I was looking at the calendar to figure out when I can come back.
